This video is taken before Rihanna got famous. She sang entirely through her nasal, which is totally her style today. Singing through the nose only works for some styles (eg. Country music). Not on a Mariah Carey's tune! Oh dear Lord! This video of Rihanna is amazingly horrible! I honestly wonder what Simon Cowell would say about this if she competed for American Idol.
