Mas Selamat on the run!

Woohoo! A fugitive on the run... And it happened right here in lovely Singapore!

I am just as shocked as so many other Singaporeans, Permanent Residents and foreigners. The question in everyone's mind is... WHY?! Why on earth can a country that is so anal about security let one limping terrorist slip from the detention centre. It just didn't make sense that with his disability, he can outrun and outsmart the guards. Are the guards so fat that they couldn't keep up?

Gosh. He should be the new star of Prison Break. I would like to know how he actually escape. Did he dig a hole in the toilet? Did he work on his own? Did he have accomplices?

???????????????

I would like to know more as much as the rest of those living in Singapore does.

  1. It is a World Wide embarrasment for all of us Singaporeans. We have always touted that we are Operational Ready as a nation.

Are we really? Or is it just a perception that we want to create and hopefully nothing happens ?

Now a LIMPING MAN has embarrass us and pictures of our forces standing 10 meters apart in a security cordon shows how fast a LIMPING MAN can run.

This is no small matter as this guys is a threat to many innocent lives not only in Singapore but around the World..

You can't say " This is a Honest mistake anymore " neither " I am sorry " will solve the problem.

We are paying $$$$TOP DOLLARS $$$$ and not PEANUTS to our ministers in the world and this LIMPING man is making a mockery of the TOP DOLLARS that we are paying.

LIMPING MAN with hardly any TOP CLASS education can even outsmart us.

What is the cost incurred to try to catch this man again so far ?

How will it afffect investor confidence in our ability to detain a LIMPING man who is a threat to innocent lives ?

Who is going to pay for it ?

It is now more thatn 48 hours yet no reults, when is he going to be caught I woner?

  2. well, if there's anything... i see a silver lining amongst all the drama. For one, all vehicles are thoroughly checked. Which means.... no illegal immigrants/drugs/etc would stand a chance to make it's way into and out of Singapore.

I just hope they catch the fugitive soon.
