I normally make meringues when I have extra egg whites.
Ingredients:
The ratio of egg whites to sugar I kept it at 1:50
Therefore with 1 egg white, add 50g of sugar for example.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 100 deg C.
Beat egg whites until foamy.
Add sugar gradually until stiff and glossy!
Ensure no water is present while whisking the egg whites with sugar.
Spoon it into cups or individually on a tray.
Bake for around 40 minutes or until it turns slightly brown but not totally.
Turn off oven and leave it inside for around an hour or until meringue can detach itself easily from the tray. (Important step!)
Serve with fruits or you can eat it on it's own. Keep it in an air tight container.
