The Wedding Game

Went to the cinema with my boyfriend to watch a local movie: The Wedding Game. The first scene was weird. They could have chosen a better setting. Instead I was treated to a green screen footage, and a Golden Village movie theater. Seriously, the scene took place in a GV cinema!! Only to make it look like its the Golden Globe, they multiplied it many times to make the place full of audiences... which made it soooooooooooooooooooooo fake!

Fortunately, as the story develops, scenes got a little bit better. And storyline was comical.

The flashback scenes revealing the identity of the stalker was kind of anti-climax. The problem is, you were not anticipating. Its not like in the Thai movie, Shutter, where they had scenes that stood out, so audiences can remember; scenes that first revealed his shoulder problems and a nurse puzzled as to why he weighed so much. So these scenes stimulates a sense of curiosity and anticipation in the movie goers... which this movie lacked. In the middle of the movie, I was like, "what happened to the stalker?"; thinking he was no longer part of the story's development. Then all of a sudden, it was revealed he was the delivery boy who knocked down May, while rushing to make a supposed delivery, and he also slept with the gay Tom. (May and Tom are managers to the couple in the movie.) It was also revealed he was in attendance at the lauch of a restaurant, as a journalist covering the event. Thing is... I remembered the scene. But his appearance was forgettable.

Anyway, I have to seriously point this out. I am annoyed by their Extras. Their acting is really... horrible... Fake thru and thru. Here you have accomplished actors doing a wonderful job, but the Extras just had to spoil it. ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!
