I am probably one of those people who don't really enjoy the sound of revving engines. So I am not at all interested in the upcoming F1 night race in Singapore (well, except Lewis Hamilton!). My dad says that if someone dies on the track, they will scrap the whole night race idea. So you guys who wants to see this thing coming back to Singapore, pray that no one dies on the track because of the 3,180,000 watts lighting.
Oh my god. Almost 3 million watts?! That amount of energy could serve 3,000 homes maybe? Correct me if I'm wrong. I am no physicist. I find it absurd that the country I live in tells their people to save electricity, and yet they waste it on something that could be done in the daytime. I know, its their fucking business. A whole bulk of the money is from companies organizing the event. So if there's demand and money for it, values takes a back seat.
Its so stupid isn't it that they tell us to save, and then cheer on when they knew it's gonna be a night race with lights 4 times brighter than that of a stadium.
Well, it shows you one thing... that there is a lot of hypocrites running the country.

so much for conserving energy. i hope they could just slash 3000 homes instead of introducing the over-rated f1 race in singapore, which is not even worthy of my money to catch it in the first place.
ReplyDeletewell, say whatever u will. but bottomline: The F1 race generates millions of dollars for Singapore. So... F1 wins. Singaporeans lose. HAHA.
